180cm (5’11″)

Place of Origin:
Antwerp, Belgium

Aquarius

How discovered:
I was scouted at a festival called ‘Laundry Day’ in Antwerp when I was about 15 or 16. I remember a woman asking me how tall I was and if I was interested in becoming a model. To be honest, I thought she was making fun of me. I never thought of myself as a girl with potential of becoming a model. I was a more quiet and insecure type of girl.

Favorite things:
Spring, holidays with friends, dancing, apples and Paris.

Favorite music, band:
Bon Iver

Favorite movie, tv show:
Pride and Prejudice. I love Keira Knightley in costume films.

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling?
Finally getting my drivers license.

What’s something uncool that you love anyway?
Watching a Disney movie on a lazy Sunday with friends.

Favorite modeling experience so far?
The shows I did for Dior and Chanel this fashion week in Paris. The location was beautiful, the music well chosen and touching and just the entire experience was overwhelming. I still need some time to realize it actually happened!

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
Without a doubt: friend and family! And fries.

Favorite artist (any kind):
Gustav Klimt. I love his use of color in his work and I can stare at it for hours.

Place you would love to visit:
Cuba. It seems such a lively and colorful place with excellent rum and good music.

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
Getting my masters at university.

On her dramatic make-under for her ELLE photo shoot: "When I saw myself with barely any makeup at, it was such a… like, I'm so, so attached to my pink lipstick, it's hard. I feel that it's become a part of me. To go in front of the camera, without pink lips or big ol' crazy lashes— you know, nothing— I felt naked. It was scary! So this photo shoot was a real accomplishment in my eyes."
